CITO

CITO have two meanings that i know of :
1) in writing medical receipt if you state CITO on top of the paper it means = URGENTLY
2) CITO stands for CITY OF TOMORROW in Surabaya

Yeah what a name for a mall in Surabaya! That i find it ridiculous.
Like every other mall, it is huge and comprise of 3 shopping floors with rooftop and basement carpark.

The only thing that i will say this mall stands apart from other is

this

it’s not about the big mall with very few people, but look closely… look at the Banner.

There’s a ruling according to the City State of Surabaya, Rule 5, stating that Malls like CITO are Smoke Free Zone!!
A hefty fine of  RP 50 Million or/and 3 month of jail will be sentence.

One of Indonesia’s main economy generator is their export in Tobacco and Cigarettes.
Trying to be health conscious to the many, they did prepare something for their smoking customers-

It’s a small room! As small as the Diaper room provided for mothers to nurse their babies or change their diapers.

Those men puffing in there didn’t look to happy being coop up in a room like that just to fag! They look more frustrated than relieve from smoking.

Nursery Room Thank god for that! because i do find mothers publicly breast feeding their babies or toddlers a tad disturbing! Although it is a norm in this country.

In malls you’ll get those mediocre and big brands store in it… but there was this small brand but mediocre company have their own shop open in this mall. It was definitely funny to see that brand of crackers there looking all so glamorous in that tiny shop.

I spotted Tako-balls selling there too! Boy, I was excited… and in the end disappointed!

it was awful an unauthentic, assuming those tako-balls i had in Malaysia are the real ones!
The sauce here caters to the taste-buds of the people here and there was no Unagi! Their octopus was not in read marination, it was pure white! One word- Horrible!
Don’t ever attempt this if you really know what Tako-balls is!!

There was a temporary tattoo spot, where this friend of mine wanted to get something on her sexy back.

The skin work of art itself wasn’t even somewhat good. I think CrazyS would have done a better job!
Anyway that girl who got herself inked, she got another one free in the end. Compensation for a bad job done and upsetting a customer.

Verdict:: CITO is just another fancy mall for people to loaf.

New Moon

The first suck- Twilight, and so does the second movie.

I don’t know what teenage raging hormones go all crazzee about when they see Pasty-White Edward Cullen. Man, he badly needs to get some one degree of burn on him.
If the character get to use his original Brit accent, i’ll probably be all over him, yet again he is pallor…

Other than expressionless acting with monotonous voice, the fans must have only imagine themselves take place as Bella in those scenes with Edward. They must have fallen for his rugged looks

Bella aggravates me too, she is as bad as Edward was. Lifeless acting… bahh…
If it weren’t for not reading the book i will not be watching this teen flick fiction at all.

The only highlight of the movie that is worth watching are the Werewolves!

Jacob Black who acted as Bella’s best friend, he and his pack of wolves got to be the yummiest thing ever on screen!
Damn, Taylor Lautner is only 17 years old with a bod like that!!

This Pup is going to some Big Bad Wolf in years to come.

Beer Battered Tilapia with Mango Sauce

This is what happens when a friend give me FREE mangoes and me come upon a recipe for it!

I had some trouble getting some of the ingredients so i altered a wee bit of it.
(Tilapia is known as Ikan Nila in Indonesia and for the chinese Fei Zhou yu “African Fish”)

Taste: Tangy-Sweet Fishy Mango

It was so good that the stray cats came to find where the whiff of the aroma was from and they were rummaging the garbage bin… heehhehe.

I’m sore at my both arms, due to lack of triceps usage.

My friends and i thinks that we should make Wednesday a Water Baby’s Day   Sounds good!!

So AGM and AGD is done. I’m glad! I’ll be slowly disappearing from the scene.
Holding a post helped me a lot.
I learn patience, dealing with difficult people, think objectively not subjectively, putting others first at times.
Will i want to do it again? Maybe, but i got other pressing matters to attend now.

Reading for signs

Do you ever do that?

I for one, will not do so. Putting bits of rational reasoning to make a decision, yes, i’ve done that. But to read for signs from the sky or a situation i’ve not, until recently.

Next year, very soon next year i’ll be spending most of my time in the teaching hospital. I was offered a quaint house to rent and i really like it. The pricing of the house is cheap since the whole house is refurnish, all i have to do is check my self with my luggage in. There was only one prob… i can’t bring the whole crew with me.
Finally after weeks of consideration, for the first time, i appreciated the final decision made by my parents when i told them about the place. It was a NO if i were to move in alone.
A few days ago, i got to know that, that place is easily flooded when monsoon comes.

Loud and clear was the answer to me now.

There’s an upcoming election in the Malaysian Society tomorrow. It’s  been 2 weeks since the names of the nominees came out. There are four candidates for the President and another four for Vice-President.

Sad to say, there are no potential person for the President post, except for 2 people
The first, who is the current President right now, is adamant to step down because he wants to focus on studies. Being adamant is one thing, but being whiny and sounding very pathetic is two very different matter! The other candidate, he is potential but he lacks the courage to take up the responsibility or worse he is worrying too much about filling in the shoes of the current Pres.  It is just so annoying to have this two full grown boys to banter on FB like that. Perhaps, that is the faulty part… both are not full grown men!

There are ways to step down graciously or turning the offer down as well. By doing like what they did makes me want to leave that particular space blank. I do not want to vote for losers!

However, for the Vice-President position all for candidates are very potential ones! I’m thinking Damn… these 4 vice president names  should be voted for both positions. The person with the most vote should be Pres and the 2nd highest should take the place as Vice!

That will solve the problem now, wouldn’t it?

Seriously, the Malaysian Men of PKPMI Malang or i rather say boys in Malang are just plain girls when they do not man up, they’re just swishing behind their mother’s skirts.
