Growing up is about realizing your own wants and feelings against what you don’t want and oppose of.
Growing up is being more self-center and trying to not be, even if it makes you unhappy.
Growing up most of all is getting better hold of you in every aspect to be a better person.
Growing up is not easy, especially when you’re at my age, the brink of being a young adult.
Growing up is complicated as life’s dogma intertwine and when you’re still preserving the rose-tinted glasses.
Growing up is hard when you have no direct role models to guide you
Growing up is observing people around you and you relying on your judgments.
Growing up means getting jaded
Growing up means more responsibilities.
I’m definitely growing up…

I symphatize, it will not be easy.
This was written in 2007, and I happen to come across your blog in my random late nite wanderings.
I’m sure by now you’ve very much seen life as an adult, seen and learned a lot.
I don’t mean to lecture, but these are very meaningful times for you.
I often think of life as a journey, and from your blog I can see you’re not naieve, very realistic in fact.
The hardest lesson for me to learn was that I can’t live for someone else, sounds simple but I couldn’t see that for myself for so long.
Anyway, you may find yourself change a lot. You have the freedom to choose, live for you. Your twenties will be amazing, hard to believe sometimes, but when you look back, you’ll be shocked.
Remember to smile too

beastofburden125: thanks for your kind words of encouragement 🙂
although it was 2 years ago, the feeling comes and go
Still I do look forward to growing-up and hope it won’t
turn out worse than my fear.
Yes, i agree that i should smile back at all the things
i’ve done- good or bad :))
